What does a wine concierge do?

He will advise you objectively, straightforwardly and specifically if you are looking for a suitable wine. Depending on your preferences, our sommelier will recommend wines or sparkling wines over the phone or in person that you might like. He will explain to you why a particular grape juice meets your expectations but another does not. And so that you and your guests can clink glasses straight away, all drinks will of course be delivered to your home chilled and at the ideal drinking temperature.

WINE/DRINK RECOMMENDATION TO GO WITH FOOD

You have invited nice guests to a home-cooked meal or a cosy get-together. You would like to offer suitable wines, champagne or long drinks to accompany the meal. By telephone or e-mail, we enquire about the guests' personalities, details of the occasion and the food on offer. Based on this, we will draw up a list of drinks, procure them directly for you or recommend a well-stocked specialist retailer in your area.

WINE AS A PRESENT/GIFT

A wine that suits every occasion: What sounds so simple is surprisingly difficult for non-wine connoisseurs to find! If you are looking for an excellent wine - and don't want to fall back on your standard repertoire - we are at your side. On request, we will be happy to deliver the wine of your choice directly to your home.

LAST-MINUTE DRINKS SHOPPING

Got a surprise visitor? Or forgot to buy a present for the upcoming dinner party? No problem! Instead of rushing out the door yourself, simply pick up the phone and tell us which drink you need for which occasion. While you set the table or get dressed, we'll go on a shopping spree for you and bring the fine wine directly to you. (Service also for new customers - just give us a call!)

HOME DELIVERY OF WINE

Is your favourite wine not available in standard mail order? We will be happy to find the wine of your choice, obtain it at the best conditions in the desired number of bottles and deliver it directly to your home.

WINE EXCURSION WITH BEAUTIFUL GLASSES

Ready for a trip to unknown wine regions? Our Le Carrousel sommelier will recommend exciting and exotic wines - ones that are just right for you. Perhaps from your favourite holiday region from childhood or the vintage of your eldest daughter? You will not only shine in front of your selected guests with your choice of drinks, but also with magnificent, mouth-blown wine glasses from our co-operation partner "Zalto Glas". These are available free of charge - as a small gift for you from our wine concierge.

Every wine has a value chain - and we pay particular attention to ensuring that this is fair! We source wines primarily from small family estates and wine producers that have been providing the best quality for generations. Our sommelier also recommends excellent vegan wines.

MOUTH-BLOWN GLASSES FOR EVERY GUEST
We co-operate with a fine glass manufacturer. They regularly impress us with the handcrafted quality of their products. Every wine glass is mouth-blown. As a small thank you, we give each guest two glasses. In this way, we create a tangible fascination that you can take home with you.
